There are trips that renew the spirit and then there are travels that stir the soul, in big swirly magical ways. The call to adventure led me to Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon, in December of 2022. Opening its borders to world tourism only in the 70s, much of Bhutan remains remote, wild and pristine, making it my kind of place. I don't know whether it was the cold temps, the hot chillies or overall altitude, but I was on a natural high of Himalayan proportions. 

I was able to work a bit with the weavers and cannot wait to grow this relationship. We will have Throws handwoven with thick, luxurious Bhutanese wool and motifs reflecting the region's heritage. Contact us for one-of-a-kind Bhutan throws.
